From reimbursement analytics to three sectors

ANTURICS was founded on several decades of combined experience in healthcare IT. Our first products applied AI and predictive analytics to hospital reimbursement — auditing DRG billing records for the errors that quietly erode a hospital's revenue. By the middle of 2023 we had reviewed more than seven million billing records.

That work taught us something uncomfortable: a great many billing problems are really documentation problems. If the ward round is captured badly, everything downstream inherits the damage. So in 2020 we started building forward from the bedside instead of backward from the invoice — which became Pulsonics and PulsonicsOffice.

Our aviation and business software came from the same instinct: a domain someone on the team knew properly, and a job that deserved a better tool than it had.
